The Yale Creek Functional Lifestyle Retreat is a weekend intensive that goes in depth into core lifestyle habits that have the greatest impact on health (ie: disease recovery and prevention, emotional well-being, and athletic performance). Participants will learn and implement the fundamental tools for optimizing health. The Retreat serves as an educational platform, an immersion into a healthy lifestyle, and a resource for building a health-minded community.

Stay an Extra Night or Two.
Join us a day early on Thursday or stick around until Tuesday morning for some extra time to enjoy the Yale Creek Farm and the surrounding area. While there are no group retreat activities on these days, its a great opportunity for a long distance bike ride or some extended R&R. Plus lodging for these bonus nights is included in your registration fee.
The Science of Healthy
Throughout the weekend, you’ll learn about the root causes of health and disease (hint: its a lot more than just genetics!), the core lifestyle habits that promote optimal wellness, and the most common disruptors that get in the way and strategies to deal with them.
Nutrition
Learn how to use food to promote long-term health and athletic success. Gain experience cooking nutrient-dense, whole -food by participating in some of the food preparation throughout the weekend.
Exercise
Daily yoga classes will help you feel strong and centered. A class on mobility will give you tools to work out sore muscles at home. Hike through the hills and enjoy daily walks around the farm. Ample trails provide the opportunity for running and the local country roads are an idyllic spot for cycling. Customize your activity plan to fit your unique fitness and training needs. We’ll provide directions and coordinate group outings. Bring your yoga mat, running shoes, and road bike as desired.
Sleep
Reset your circadian rhythm and develop sleep hygiene skills to maximize the recovery and repair phase of your day.
Mindfulness
Learn to add mindfulness to daily activities and support emotional and mental well-being.
Community

Dr. Leslie Yedor, DAOM, L.Ac.
Dr. Leslie Yedor, DAOM, L.Ac. is an Integrative Medicine specialist and is trained in functional medicine, western allopathic medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine. She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a Licensed Acupuncturist. Dr. Leslie brings a scientific, evidence based approach to natural medicine and works to build a unique partnership with each patient to help them find quality of life and optimal health at every age.
Sara Bunn, Certified Yoga Instructor
Sara Bunn is a certified yoga instructor who loves to teach alignment-based vinyasa flow. Her classes focus on strength, joint health, and mobility. All levels are welcome from never-ever’s to dedicated yogis.

Driving: Yale Creek Farm is located about an hour east of Ashland, OR and the I5 freeway. We will provide detailed driving directions. Please do NOT use Google Maps.
Flying: The closest airport is in Medford, OR. Please let us know if you plan to fly and we may be able to help arrange transportation to the farm.
