Dr. Leslie Yedor, DAOM, L.Ac. is an Integrative Medicine specialist and is trained in Functional Medicine, Western Allopathic Medicine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is a Licensed Acupuncturist.
Dr. Leslie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studied pre-medicine and classical archaeology. She graduated with honors and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society. Dr. Leslie then went on to complete six years of graduate medical education at Five Branches University in San Jose, California where she finished at the top of her class.
In 2015, Dr. Leslie began her Integrative Medicine residency training through Highland Hospital’s UCSF affiliated Western Medicine Residency program in Oakland, CA. While at Highland, she completed rotations throughout the Department of Medicine with a primary focus in Neurology. Her residency training also included rotations in Integrative Orthopedic and Physical Medicine in Santa Cruz, CA and in Primary Care and Urgent Care at the Yosemite National Park Medical Clinic.
Her desire to help her patients find quality of life and optimal health at every age led her to pursue training in the cutting edge field of Functional Medicine. Dr. Leslie is currently attending ongoing training through the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine. In addition, Dr. Leslie has a passion for research and has presented on a variety of topics, which began early in her academic career and continues presently.
Personally, Dr. Leslie is an avid outdoorswoman with a particular love for skiing, rock climbing, and yoga. She has a passion for cooking nutrient dense food and loves to share both meals and outdoor adventures with her friends and family.
